Alliance Specialties, Corp.
Privacy notice
Alliance JobTrack is an internal system used by employees of Alliance Specialties, Corp. to record their working time and the jobs they work on. It is not open to the public and there is no way to sign up for it. Accounts are created by the office when somebody joins.
Your mobile number
Your mobile number is how you sign in. There is no password. When you enter your number, the system sends you a one-time code that expires in 15 minutes.
Your number is used for this and nothing else. It is never used for marketing, it is never sold, and it is never given to anybody outside the company for any purpose other than sending you that code. The system has no other kind of message it is able to send you.
Every sign-in code issued for you is written to a log you can read yourself, on your own Settings screen: who issued it, whether it was used, and how long ago. That log exists so that a code issued on your behalf cannot be issued quietly.
What the system holds about you
Your name, your mobile number, the employee number payroll knows you by, your work location, the department or bench you work at, and the language you have chosen.
Your working time: when you clocked in and out, the jobs you logged time against, and any non-billable time you recorded. Photographs and files you attach to a job are stored with that job.
This system does not store what you are paid. There is no pay rate, no wage and no tax figure in it, and nothing here works out what you are owed — Paychex does that.
Changes to your hours are shown to you
Anybody who corrects your recorded time leaves a record of it that cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, and you can read that record yourself. This is deliberate: your hours are what you are paid on, so a change to them is not something that should happen out of your sight.
Who it is shared with
Your employee number and your hours are provided to the company's payroll provider so that you can be paid. Your mobile number is provided to the messaging provider that delivers your sign-in code, and to nobody else.
When something goes wrong in the software, a technical report may be sent to the service the company uses to find faults. Personal details are removed from those reports before they leave the company's own systems, and the reports are deleted after 90 days.
Asking about your information
To see what is held about you, to correct it, or to have your mobile number removed from the system, speak to the office. If your number is removed you will no longer be able to sign yourself in, and the office will need to issue you a code on their screen each time instead.
